I love summers in Chicago! We hit 3 festivals in less than 24 hours last weekend: Ribfest, Printers Row Lit Fest, and Metronome Festival. Here's probably the highlight of Josh's weekend at Justin Roberts concert at Printers Row Lit Fest:
Oh yeah, the Metronome Festival in our neighborhood was really fun too. Here's Josh with his friend, Tobin, on our front stairs waiting for me to come out. (Photos courtesy of Tobin's mom, Bethany.)
And here's an action shot at the bouncy castle in the kids' area there. It was free and was so much fun for Josh!
He even got a fake baseball tatoo and got his face painted with a bowling pin. Josh's obsessed with bowling for some reason. Of course, Josh's uncle Joe had to show him how to flex his muscles while aunt Wendy just looks on incredulously.
This blog details some of our personal ups and downs with building our home in Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois and now living in it. Our home is an environmentally friendly, energy efficient house that is registered with LEED for Homes and Chicago Green Homes.
